Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The incumbent in this position is responsible for delivering food and beverages in accordance with company standards.

 

 

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

(The following statements are intended as general illustrations of the work in this class and are not all inclusive for specific positions.)

  1. Recognize guests immediately with a friendly greeting.
  2. Ensure guest satisfaction through responsiveness to guest needs.
  3. Maintain a well groomed neat and clean appearance, carrying out duties with attention to sanitation safety.
  4. Perform side work duties on daily basis and other duties as assigned.

 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

Must have ability to:

  • Transport trays and/or plates throughout the Beach Club which may weigh up to 50 pounds, as well as serve food items and beverages.
  • Review and comprehend and necessary documentation.
  • Stand throughout an eight hour shift.
  • Effectively and efficiently move throughout the Beach Club and the kitchen area.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and co-workers alike.
  • Work in an environment that has varying levels of smoke, crowds, and noise the severity of which depends upon customer volume.

 

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge of table service procedures and table etiquette. These skills and abilities are typically acquired through two (2) years service experience.

 

  

REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to the other duties described herein, each and every employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend required training sessions offered by the Hard Rock.
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee’s department.
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
  • Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management
